I play bass and sing lead and back up.
Looking for as much work as possible. Open to fill in gigs if the money is right and I have no conflicts. Also fine with a full time exclusive position with a band that works at least 10 gigs a month. Also no problem touring.
Open to all genres of music. The key is how much are you working. I'm even alright with an original act that is WORKING.
I have reliable transportation, I don't drink, and have pro gear. In addition to my bass rig, I have a Mackie 808S and two Yamaha 12” monitors.
Please no bands that rehearse weekly. One to three times a month of rehearsing is plenty for a working band. Rehearsing to prep for an upcoming gig (or gigs) is cool. If you are really serious about “getting it tight,” rent a house and practice for 3 or 4 days in a row. You'll be a tight band or broken up, but either way you won't have to rehearse all the time anymore. Of course I'll rehearse as much as I have to for a national or pro touring act. Just not for a garage band.
Here is a link to some work I did with a Blues group. I am doing the tenor back ups on some of these.

Here is a link to my current cover band, “The Unlisted.” I do all the back up singing. We play classic and modern rock.

I also played with this band for five years. We did the northern Nevada casino cabaret circuit. I'm not on any material on their site, but it's a reference.
