LEAD GUITAR WANTED for 90’s rock cover band

Looking for experienced lead guitar, 25-35, or close to it, who wants to join a primarily 90’s rock cover band. You must be able to learn the songs as they are recorded but we don’t necessarily want a robot as we do different things with some songs. You MUST have the following: lots of live experience, great stage presence, pro gear, transportation, look, personality, blah, blah, blah. You love playing, drinking beers and being “The Man” when it comes to guitar and a band’s guitar sound. We want someone to walk in and blow us away.

We are Lead Vox/Rhythm Guitar, Drums/Back Vox, Bass/Back Vox, ages 29-35 and have spent the last 10 years playing in serious gigging original bands in and around Boston. Now we just want to chill out and make some dough doing mostly covers from the "alt 90’s" (Green Day, Pumpkins, Live, Weezer, Foo, etc.) or whatever people call it now. We all have the chops, stage experience, personality, young look, etc. We’re all friends and are totally laid back. Sometimes we run around the rehearsal space naked. Although it's getting colder out so we may cut down on some of that.

We've got 30-40 tunes down so far so you need to get up to speed quickly. We all have full time jobs but want to gig as much as possible once the catalog is complete. We rehearse 2x a week (Tues or Wed AND Fri or Sat) in Weymouth for free. Once we start gigging, we won’t have to rehearse as much obviously. Booking will be primarily taken care of by a national booking agency which has already agreed to represent us. We are a fun group of guys, no egos, no prejudices - unless you suck at guitar.
