ABOUT

I began as a drummer, and performed in bands, orchestras, and symphonies. I had a rock band and played gigs years ago. We even cut a record. But over the past ten years I've been working on my voice instead and now have a good alto range, with an ability to squeeze out hard rock and blues notes. I practice very very often and learn lyrics to songs so that I can practice even in the car when a song comes onto the radio. This keeps my voice growing and expanding and gives me a variety of musical genres I can sing. I'm seeking musicians to jam with and possibly join to play shows. I sing mostly blues and country; as well as classic rock. I also sing alternative or modern rock. But I'd much rather just join a group who has their own prferences for song selection and sing what they want. I'm always testing my voice and challenging myself to take on really hard songs. My stage presence is improving lately, and my look is evolving. I'm tall, athletic, and skinny, have a R&R look already; thought I prefer to shave my head and go for a leather dom look or wear a cowboy hat and tank top, blue jeans and biker boots. That's why I'd really appeal to a band who's playing rock/blues or outlaw/modern country. But I can sing most anything.
