KING CONNERY is a trio of experienced studio and live performance musicians based out of the Erie, Pa area. They have performed for many years on the North Coast as well as around the U.S.A. Originally from the deltas of Erie Pa, King Connery found themselves at the top of the blues scene with their debut album, “King Connery Live"...The band's latest album, “Live Again,” joins together Spot's muddy originals with roadhouse boogie-woogie to churn out their most satisfying brand of musical gumbo. With standout tracks like "It's All Good,” penned by Johnny King, already certified in Europe, King Connery can count on loads of future success.

KING CONNERY features:

Johnny King provides dynamic vocals and has been delighting audiences for years with his guitar antics. He rounds out the band by adding down-home slide guitar and classic amplified blues harmonica.

Spot Connery adds his electrifying vocal interpretations to classic and original tunes. Spot is a performer, composer, and a large influence on bay area musicians. He is intuitively melodic, syncopated and fun to watch. Spot also adds outstanding Alto and Tenor saxophones to round out the band.

2-Sweet King provides solid percussion and vocals. His fiery passion for drums was alive at an early age. He began playing the piano at age 5 and the drums at age 8. 2-Sweet writes and arranges many of King Connery’s songs and considered one of the top drumsmiths in the country.

This broad array of talent offers the listener more for their entertainment dollar. It makes the listener feel as though they are in the presence of a band much greater in size.

KING CONNERY’s music spans from the music of the 20’s & 30's to the contemporary music of today and includes, Blues, Motown, R&B, Rock, Classic hits, Jazz, and more. All combined, the group brings a lively, interactive performance to any event.
