My names Mike im 20 from Jersey City/bayonne area I am a somewhat dedicated musician, i try to play something at least once a day. I started with Trumpet in grade school, went to guitar later on took private guitar lessons for about 3 years also messed around with bass guitar in that time. While playing guitar i purchased a drum set because i wanted to play as a side hobby. I took drum lessons for about a year and a half and have picked it up more seriously since then. Time goes on and ive been playing drums and guitar ever since before i even got into high school. My biggest problem has been being abled to find good musicians i can learn from yet also teach at the same time. Ive recorded some live recordings with freinds and also write stuff in my spare time.

Influences:

When i was younger i was heavily into punk rock, ska, hardcore, 90's alternative, some metal and industrial, psychobilly, i did listen to emo/acoustick music at some points. I am trying to keep an open my mind to new styles and genres..

Equipment List:

I have a Fender fat strat, several other guitars including and electric acoustick and a les paul knockoff. I have a 70 watt hughes and ketner guitar amp, zoom 606+700 pedal, a nice preamp. For bass i have standard ones, and an ampeg dual channel 120 watt amp. For drums i have 2 sets a tama rockstars and a mapex venus series. Both are set up together to provide double bass, i am using sabian and zildjian cymbols incuding a ride,crash, crash/ride, china, and high hats. I also own a Tascam digital 8 track recorder which can record a pretty decent sound.
