Experienced lyricist/singer looking for songwriting partner to write original songs. My influences are varied, and yours should be to. I'd be interested in starting with getting together once a week to write, with a goal to recording our music, having an on-line presence, and potentially adding other like-minded musicians, once we have a clear direction and some songwriting done.

Influences
Learned to sing by listening to Rosemary Clooney, Sade, and a lot of Celtic music.
Heavily influenced by Tori Amos, Kate Bush, David Gray, U2, Over The Rhine and Fiona Apple.
Appreciate everything from Mozart to Iron Maiden.
Currently listening to a lot of Florence & the Machine, Interpol, The Kills, Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer, Savages and Civil Wars. I also listen to plenty of electronic music/world music- including Tricky, Faithless, Thievery Corp, Massive Attack, John 'OO' Flemming, and more.
