ABOUT

I've been playing piano for over 10 years and have mainly just played very technical classical music, despite the fact that I would much prefer to jam to something else. However, as a solo pianist, I was just never exposed to this opportunity and I want to expand! I've dabbled in composing and have an excellent ear, but have never really thought of myself as a songwriter. My technical skills are good, if you give me the music I can learn it fairly quickly and play pretty advanced material. I also have a ukulele I have dabbled on, but not that much. However I can learn on there quite quickly as well. My finger muscle memory is gooooood.

Influences

this list is more what I listen to than what I play. what I play isn't really music I go out of my way to listen to ironically.. (I play Liszt, Debussy, Beethoven the most out of composers). listening wise, I have a pretty huge scope of music I like. Trying to keep this somewhat tame, I will try to only list my top favorites across a few genres.. Autolux, My Bloody Valentine, Silversun Pickups, White Stripes, Black Keys, Eagles of Death Metal, Reel Big Fish (ska is such a god damn fun genre), The Damned, Hat Trickers, The Erections (both last 2 are Japanese punk bands), among others...

EQUIPMENT

I have a full 88 key weighted Roland keyboard.. & a Fender ukulele. AND THESE FINGERS AM I RIGHT ;D
