About

I am a percussionist/drummer looking to join an R&B, neo-soul, or smooth jazz group. Also looking for a consistent church playing job as well, a church worship service with contemporary Gospel music like Israel Houghton, Tye Tribbet, Vashawn Mitchell, Fred Hammond, etc. I have years of playing experience along with having studied numerous percussion instruments and styles while receiving my Bachelor's in music from the University of Georgia. I have studied drum set, 2-4 mallet keyboard percussion, ethnic percussion, marching and concert percussion, and lead tenor steel drum (Trinidad and Tobago). Influences

Everything I listen to is an influence for me, which includes all genres of music. Current music that's rotating would be Anthony Hamilton, Maxwell, various hip hop, No Doubt, Smashing Pumpkins, Jill Scott, Israel Houghton and other gospel artists, 30 Seconds to Mars. Other drummers' influence includes: Jimmy Chamberlin, Chris Coleman, Akira Jimbo, Dennis Chambers, Adrian Young, Tony Royster Jr, Eric Moore
