About
Greetings fellow musicians! I have been playing banjo for roughly eight years now. I have been jamming with various musicians and I'm currently looking to be in a full time band. I would like to find other musicians to jam with who are interested in creating some sorta diverse mix of genres. The last band I played in was considered a funk/jazz/rock band and I would love to continue playing that style on the banjo because it's quite a challenge. I have been in a total of three bands so far. All of them didn't last very long. The first band was formed in the Summer of 2008, called Tobacco Row Exchange. It was considered a contemporary bluegrass band. The second group I played in was in late 2009 and was called Southern Funk Orchestra, which was a southern rock band. The third, most recent band I played in was called The Foundation, formerly called the Matt Koon Foundation. It was a band that mainly consisted of funk, jazz and rock fused together. All of the bands were fun times and have made me a better musician. Now it's time for me to play on! Check out this promo.. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/4420516/the_matt_koon_foundation/
