ABOUT

LOOKING FOR FEMALE MUSICIANS.

I am a member of Bassments & Addicts, Founder of Lady Rockstars and Director of Music for Girls Rock Charlotte. My main passion is Bass Guitar but I can play various other instruments. I am always on the lookout for experienced female musicans who would like to teach. Girls Rock Camp is one week during the summer. Volunteers can teach an instrument, manage a "band", or instruct a class. By the end of the week the girls (ages 10-16) have written their own songs and perform in front of a crowd. Teaching those kids is one of the most fufilling things I have done and it led me to want to give the same experience to adult women.

Lady Rockstars is a 6 week class for women ages 21+ (we drink wine). Students learn guitar and bass, but I'm looking to expand to more instruments and age groups eventually. At the end of the class, students perform at a local open mic to show off their new skills. It's a great thing to empower women through music!

Lady Rockstars teaching positions would be paid. Girls Rock is volunteer at the moment, but could eventually become paid. We are in the works to becoming a Non-Profit organization. If you are interested in volunteering please email me at ladyrockstarsclt

***I'm looking for geniune people that are interested in empowering women, making friends, and providing a safe and supportive learning environment!***
