Been playing funk a lot lately and i love it, but right now i'd kinda like to get back into playing metal. Doom/Industrial/death metal, heavier stuff like that, none of this linkin park or staind crap. Seriously, why the hell even bother playing "metal" if it's gonna be that pussified MTV pop bullsh*t? Get the fu*k outta here! I don't claim to be the best bassist in the world. I won't solo like billy sheehan, but i can definitely lay down a solid groove.

Influences:

Cliff Burton, John Paul Jones, Geezer Butler and Noel Redding have always been a big influence on my sound, now I'm trying to incorporate a little Victor Wooten and Billy Sheehan-esque type stuff in my playing. I love Stanley Clarke, Stu Hamm, Larry Graham and Louis Johnson as well.
Bands: Acid Bath, Mushroom River Band, Rob/White Zombie, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Jucifer, Pentagram, Devildriver, GWAR (lol)

Equipment List:

4 Stringers: Musicman Stingray, Gibson Victory and Warwick Corvette fretless. 5 Stringer: LTD F-5E
Amps: Road and ampeg amp heads with Ampeg 8x10 cab. I also have a decent PA system, with JBL 2x15 cabs, JBL 1x18 woofers, 16 channel mixer, effects processor, EQ etc. I have a little Ashdown combo amp for practice/smaller gigs, also have a Jackson Kelly guitar and if needed I can play a little rhythm guitar.
