Our music blurs the line between hard rock and metal. Our music is definitely taking on a progressive feel, and we are experimenting with and learning some different time signatures. If you want to play what everybody else is playing, then continue your search, we are not what you are looking for. However, if you want to be in a band that sounds different than the hardcore, screamo, and emo, then check us out. You can find us at www.myspace.com/theoryofdecadence. We have some recordings of some of our material on there. We have since started the migration towards more progressive material.

Influences:

The guitarist is influenced by Pantera, Godsmack, Paul Gilbert, and adding John Petrucci to that mix.
The drummer is influenced by Nikko McBrain, Testament, Lars Ulrich, and Mike Portnoy, to name a few.
