LA Mangano - Guitar Player- song writer- visionary- rock star.
With influence ranging from the blues, & jazz to hard rock & heavy metal, spanning decades of music, I draws inspiration from the likes of Aerosmith, Kiss, Queen, Motley Crue & The Who, up to more modern acts like, The Struts, Hinder, Buckcherry, & The Rival Sons. My eagerness and talent have served me well, releasing my first (of 3) CD "Live Fast" wth my band Down & Dirty out of Chicago at the age of 17, the next two cds "Taste of Rock & Roll" & "Down To The Wire" took me & my band to even more new heights, including tours of the midwest & east coast. Additionally, me and my band have had many performances & invites, at major rock festivals such as rocklahoma (2009, 2012, 2013, 2014), Rock-N-America (2010) as well as opening slots for major recording artists such as Buckcherry, Black Stone Cherry, Bang Tango, Faster Pussycat, Vains of Jenna, Dirty Penny just to name a few. I have experience, on the road, in the studio, song writing, video making, merchandise sales & design, marketing & promotion. After leading Down & Dirty for many years, I am taking my talent, drive & desire forward. I am looking for like minded people to continue on a musical path. Music is not a destination, its a journey and im ready to hit the road. I can bring a lot to the table including but not limited to, high energetic stage performance, drive/dedication, commitment, song writing, creative collaboration, media and advertising.
