LeShawn Daniel Streater has been graced to write many praise/worship songs. He was priveledged to be one of the writers for a Unityfest cd project, which was a album that was released in 2003 for the benefit of charity. Unityfest began as a concert that brings all races and denominations of people together, of which in the past years have featured the likes of Ted & Sheri, Karen Clark Sheard, Donald Lawrence, Richard Smallwood, Maurette Brown Clark, Vanessa Williams, The Clark Sisters, Avalon, John P. Kee, Byron Cage, Dorinda Clark Cole, J Moss, Tamela & David Mann, Kurt Carr & Singers, Israel Houghton & Newbreed, Tye Tribett, Thee Ensemble, & The Unityfest Choir. The song that LeShawn wrote for the Unityfest 2003 CD was simply titled "Just Worship".

Prior to conversion, he pursued a secular career as a rapper/singer with a local group called "TLN".

After experiencing transformation, LeShawn has used this gift to exhort, minister, encourage and build up people as a witness to the love, power, and grace of Jesus Christ. He calls his genre or style of music "Word-ship", being that the songs he present are inspired by the Holy Spirit, combined with scripture.

He is also an author, with two books published and released: "My First Love" (2005); "The Special Edition: My First Love" (2007) & a poem "Never Judge A Book By It's Cover" featured in the International Library of Poetry's 1998 Special Edition book. Along with these credits, LeShawn is an actor/model, featured in several stage plays, including Altia Conner's "Real Love Don't Hurt", "There's A Blessing In The Storm", and the most recent being the Kristal Calloway production of "Let's Talk About It."

LeShawn is located in Louisville, KY and is the new founder of Declare The Glory Enterprises, the company/ministry in which just released his debut cd entitled "Songs of Deliverance". Under the umbrella of DTG will emerge some other new appointed authors, singers, etc. As an "eagle"; writer, arranger, vocalist, and keyboardist on all of his songs , It is his heart to see others of integrity not only called out but activated in their giftings as well, for one main purpose and that is to see Jesus Christ exalted and to see men set free.
