I stopped playing in a classic rock cover band earlier this year to focus on work and practicing guitar other than the songs we were playing all the time. I'd like to meet some musicians in the Blacksburg area for jamming and possibly playing out again, but not the same old WROV cover tunes. I'd like to delve into heavy blues, some modernized versions of classic R&B tunes, and alternative/jam music. Fairly open minded about material as long as it grooves and "doesn't suck."
