I grew up playing music and performing at a very young age. I played everything from cover music to blues to jazz to soul to R&B to whatever paid the bills. I received a Bachelor of Music (in the jazz program) from North Texas State University (now the University of North Texas) and performed with local and regional bands in TX and NY for many years, but got out of music after being poor for too long.

Back around 2008 I picked up my horn and locked myself in a room for six months, practicing everyday until I felt I was ready to be heard in public. I have been performing with local bands since then, but none of them have had any steady work.

I am interested in a working (or very close to working) band. I will travel and / or relocate to other parts of the country ...IF... the group has steady bookings.
