ABOUT

We're seeking a drummer who is skilled in R&B, funk, rock, and pop. Groove is everything.

We're currently a three-piece band, all students at the University of Puget Sound (we're entirely open to working with people from outside our school). I formed the band to play songs from my EP on iTunes, new material, and a few select covers.

It's evolved into something great. We've developed an eclectic sound from our diverse influences (our bass player is a funkman, our violinist is heavily influenced by Balkan music, and I write pop songs inspired by old soul and rock, with modern R&B/hip-hop influences scattered throughout). We improvise and jam on songs, but we also have a pop sensibility when it comes to showmanship and song structure.

We're very lucky in that everyone in the band is in it for the songs--there's no ego, and we all get a kick out of hanging out and making this music together. We want to keep it that way, and we'll add a new member only if we feel they help lift the band to a new level--both in terms of groove and band chemistry.
