I'm an acoustic singer/songwriter and I'm looking for a couple of people (mainly bass/percussion) to help bring this into a fuller sound and move away from the stereotypical folk sound. I have played at many venues over the past 4 years, have received press coverage, and I'm looking to bring this to the next level! I want a great group of people that I can work equally with and just have a great time :)!

*updates*
in April, I won runner up in a contest for 100 hours of free studio time that was fan voted. I am now recording my first ep.
I also played a "singer/songwriter showcase" at the 2009 SXSW.
On September 2, I played my first college gig at Southwestern University.

Influences:

I like the kind of music that makes you feel something, and helps you say what you can't. I am mainly influenced by singer/songwriters (Jason Mraz is my all-time favorite) but I also love the Chili Peppers, jazz, Passion Pit, etc.

I'm more interested in creating an amazing live sound that is unique but sticks to my acoustic roots. Any influences really just confuse, because while I love them, I don't strive to emulate them.
