About
Lindsey Lane & Axis is a full production top 40 band with outstanding energy, talent, and song selection. We have an exceptional laser light show (venue permitting) and two marvelous lead vocalists. We are a 6-piece band (Female Singer/Keys, Lead Guitar, Smokin' Sax, Bass, Drums) and employ a professional sound technician to run sound and accommodate any special breaks/music and manage event announcements for a total of 7 members.
Lindsey Lane is a dynamic frontline vocalist singing about 40-50%, and the other male vocalist making up the remainder. Lindsey's vocal style is often compared to strong chesty top-40/rock vocalists such as Ann Wilson of Heart, Lady GaGa, and Donna Summer. Ralph "Rock" Bland (Lead Guitar/Vocals) sings a lot like Don Henley and as our second lead sings a lot of commanding bluesy infused Mo-town infused dance tunes.
Our songlist consists of crowd and jukebox favorites---songs everybody loves and likes to rock out, sing and party to. We can accommodate any request for any song either thru' our setlist or our break song list and are happy to learn special requests.
We do a great job of very popular party songs like I Gotta Feelin' by the Black Eyed Peas, Cupid Shuffle, Electric Slide, Get this Party Started, Believe, Celebration, Aretha Franklin, etc. We also do a great selection of rockin' country and Southern Rock songs by Gretchen Wilson, Shania Twain, Eagles, Rascal Flatts, Creedence, Lady Antebellum, Sugarland, etc.
In addition to performing these songs live, Lindsey does a great job of getting the audience engaged. She teaches the Electric Slide and the Cupid Shuffle to audience members - which is ALWAYS a HUGE hit with all ages!!
