I am a Lighting/Prodution Designer for national famous touring acts. I am producing a Pink Floyd tribute act that will have national touring and a production on the scale of international Pink Floyd touring act Aussie Floyd. This show will play medium to large venues and will travel with full production with 1 53' tractor and busses. This will be a real touring act not a bar tribute band.

I already have keyboards/band leader and now a new bassist. I will need the following musicians. A guitar/vocalist that will do the David Gilmour part, drums/perc, guitar 2 and 2 female vocalist. YOU MUST have professional gear and attitude and have at least 10-15 years playing time and 5-10 years of touring under your belt.

This is how the production will start and finally end up doing shows.

Try-outs will start August 1 2009 and end September 1 2009 in a place TBA.
After the musicians are selected there will be meetings from September 1-15
Starting September 16 to December1 the rehearsals and set-list will be done in secure warehouse that will be provided.
Starting the month of December dress rehearsals will begin. This will take only 1 month as this when the big money will kick in from corporate sponsors.
January 2010 show will begin to be prepped to start the tour sometime in early 2010.

This is how pay and salaries will be done.
Everyone will start be paid when dress rehearsals begin. This pay will differ from touring pay. You will be paid hourly at dress.
Tour pay will be salary and per diem.
Food and rooms will be provided on the tour only.

I will need everybody to give a little to get this started. Times and dates will be worked around my concerts and other events. You will have to spend a little of your time and money as far as gas to get to first rehearsals.

All of try-outs and first rehearsals will take place in Bloominton, Indiana. Dress will take place in Indianapolis, IN.
