I have been playing for about 15 years. I can play anything if shown how relatively quickly. I love to sing, scream, wail, whatever. I consider myself a moderately talented singer with a lot of potential if inspired. I have written songs in the past, love it, but just not sure how good they were so I never got too deep into it. I have no delusions about being a great lead guitarist, but love to play, can sing and play, and just love to jam in general. I play with some older relatives that are great blues guitarists, and have a blast doing it. Never have really played a gig locally here, but jammed at a few dive bars in Orlando back in the late nineties. Influences
Too many to list. Love Marley,The Allman Bros, Zep, Floyd, Neil Young, Traffic, Hendrix, any and all of the great bands of the sixties and seventies.
Also love the old fifties blues and soul singers like Ray, and Nat King Cole.
Grew up in the nineties so gotta love the Peppers, Metallica, Rage, Pantera, Pearl Jam, Nirvana all of the Seattle bands from Alice to Mudhoney to Sonic Youth. Widespread Panic. Huge Black Crowes fan (see em every chance I get..one of the best jam bands of all time).
Not a huge fan of most of the music coming out these days, but hopefully we can fix that soon right?
EQUIPMENT
Not too equipped. I have my accoustic, my electric, my harmonica, a good amp and a couple pedals...oh yeah and a mic stand. That's about it, but would be willing to man up and get some stuff if needed.
