I'm a 34 y/o experienced drummer wanting to join a cover band. I would prefer to join a band that is already established and has a professional business-like mindset. I have 16 years of experience as a live performer playing in bands that covered mostly 70's - today's top hits. I have extensive knowledge in the 80's pop, rock, and hard rock genres. I am musically knowledgeable and have a great ear for learning set lists very quickly. I can also sing back-up harmonies. I'd like to be gigging a few times per month around the Northshore and Southshore areas. I, of course, have my own transportation and all the equipment needed to get the job done. 90's - Collective Soul, Lenny Kravitz, Bush, Cranberries, etc...
Modern Rock- Jet, Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon, etc...
Today's Pop - Maroon 5, Adele, Katie Perry, etc...
Top 40 - Any danceable standard.
Classic Rock - AC/DC, Journey, Led Zeppelin, Stix, Boston, etc...
Punk Rock - Blink 182, Green Day, etc...
Pop Country/Rock - Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, The Band Perry, etc...
I'm not interested in playing death metal, hardcore punk, old country western, blues, jazz, and bluegrass/roots genres. They just aren't my thing. I'm a rock n roll bassist.
I'm also not really into the original music scene.
