My name is louie, Ive been playing guitar for 5 years now but im only a year and a half or so into metal, i used to play in several punk bands that never went anywhere when iwas 16 and 17, now I want to start a metal/rock band, a great one, Every day i go through rigorous finger excercises, do my scales, jam/improvise, try to write music, learn tabs, Im not a great lead guitarist yet but Im learning at an extremely fast rate, and I would like to start putting something together that would be ready, hopefully, to play shows no later than the beginning of summer, however I do realize that this will be a lot of work, but my level of commitment is very high

PANTERA, BLACK SABBATH, Led Zeppelin, iron maiden, metallica, megadeth, black dahlia murder, I know theres a million metal bands i cant call to mind right now... its early, Superjoint Ritual, Down, Hendrix, SRV, Bob Dylan, Robbie Robertson, Dimebag, Iommi, Randy Rhoads, Ozzy, the Ramones, The Clash, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys,RANCID!!! Pink Floyd,the white stripes, I think you get the idea,i listen to all types of rock as well as folk, and anything else that catches my interest, I love classical music, anything thats good, nothing poppy, cheesy, soft or fake, i dont listen to avenged sevenfold or good charlotte or anything like that

Equipment List:

I have a crate 2x10 solid state with celestions from i think the early 90s, a good amp, ive extended it with two generic 12" speakers and it really boosts the sound, im going to get something better, obviously, but it will compete witht the drums/whatnot for the time being, and Ive got a jackson dinky, a couple other guitars that are taken apart right now... pedal, tuner, all that good lovely
