Do you have original music you would like to realize in performance? Do you play an innovative instrument? Chapman Stick? ZenDrum? Laptop Percussion? Electric upright bass? Moog Guitar? This is a very exciting project with highy-structured, easy-to-learn songs that also allow players to improvise a lot. In short, this is an all original project influenced by chill, dub, blues, jazz, soul, and world music. It's instrumental but vocalization (not singing) is welcome. I play a Moog Voyager monophonic analog synth with a Lexicon effects processor.

Influences:

Sensual, funky, soulfull, slow and mid tempo grooves. Simple, modal, repetitive, with lots of room for improvisation. The attached original songs do not necessarily represent the groove we will seek, but do represent performance and composition skill levels. Ideal bandmates would have similar levels of accomplishment or high creativity combined with great feel and timing. This project would be ideal for a seasoned professional exploring a new instrument or genre.

Equipment List:

The ultimate goal is to have fun as a group. The ideal bandmates would be humble, creative, team players with day jobs and families. We are serious about music and the groove is everything. To ensure we lock the band up to the millisecond, sending chills down the audience's spine (and ours too), we drink after rehearsals and performances.

Members Of Band:

Goals are professional CD releases and early gigs at lounges, cafes, and dinner clubs. By creating and playing original music we can play clubs other bands can't (due to ASCAP et al.) Original music means we can play ANY club and create and sell CDs. Original music means an actual chance for meaningful success, money, and much artistic expression.
