Formed in 2004, MADDAM INK is Philadelphia's premier original rock band. With hard driving riffs and catchy melodies, their sound can't be described as anything but original. With inspiration from many classic rock bands, including Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix, Maddam Ink is able to create a fan base of all types of music lovers. Their radio friendly play list easily finds itself within the bounds of modern rock radio with favorites like Breaking Benjamin, Incubus, Chevelle, Fuel, Staind, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Alien Ant Farm, and The Killers. The band consists of 4 players: Adam Burke, lead vocalist, has been playing guitar and writing music since he was 11 years old. His stage presence and tight melodies have proven to capture any crowd. Matt Scott (a.k.a. Uncle Matty), Guitars, is a trained musician. You can find him most days using his music degree to teach our areas up and coming talent, or in a studio cutting lead tracks for other area bands. Bassist Dave Arellano (a.k.a. Mt. Saint Dave) not only masters the bass guitar, but also works in many other genres of the music industry, including engineering, producing, and live sound. Kyle Young, Drums, is the youngest and newest addition to Maddam Ink. Kyle's been in many award winning drum lines and jazz bands since the beginning of his talent 8 years ago. He began playing in the punk rock scene of the local Quakertown area in bands like "Zero Society," "The City in the Sea," and Second Class Citizens." His solid beats, without a question, provide the driving backbone for this band. You can catch this fab foursome at Allentowns premier night club Crocodile Rock, along with other area hotspots, including Phillys Club 218, Abilens, Mothers Bar and Grille in Easton, and The Sterling in Allentown.
