Hello My name is Mandi , I have been playing guitar for about 8 years now. I am looking to start up a band in the metal genre. I have taken lessons when I was younger but now I mainly learn by myself. Im looking for people who are committed into starting a new project. I have some connections when it comes to getting gigs. I do have a handful of my own written stuff, but im looking for the right pieces to help me fill in the rest. I am a little bit of a lyricists, but I am open minded to others output to find the right sound. I don't mind doing covers looking for the same in others ( just to get going but Im more interested in doing our own music!) I am looking for serious musicians only that have time and are willing to practice at least twice a week. Im really not looking to join a band,im mainly interested in starting up something new to enhance the scene in San Antonio. I am looking for people in my age range.

Influences
Metal rock blues classical old school punk rock. I don't want to make a huge list of bands. But I can play stuff from Jimi hendrix to megadeth.

EQUIPMENT
I have a half stack ready to go, one acoustic an Ibanez rg 350 and a RR flying V Jackson. I also have a line 6 port tune some various pedals. I also play some piano and have a keyboard with a nice sound, but I would prefer to just play guitar.
