Ive been playing music consistently for about 5 years now, my primary focus is on creative and expressive songwriting with acoustic guitar coming in a close second. I play some electric/ lead as well. I was in a band before but they had no idea what they wanted, I wouldn't waste my time. I have a bank of lyrics and music that I believe are hard to say "Yeah, he sounds like that band" which is the exact phrase I strive to avoid. If I had to put myself into a genre, it would be Prog/Acoustic/Alternative. Ive been trying to get my own solo work going for a long time now but my fatal flaw is that I dont have a drummer, and if I ever wanted to gig its kind of hard to gig by myself. With that said, I am looking for a couple individuals who are dedicated, and willing to dive right into some music that I have been working and developing for a long time.
Influences
tool, Porcupine Tree, Audioslave, Soundgarden, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Incubus, Blind Melon, Radiohead, The Doors, Cat Stevens,Pearl Jam, Al DiMeola. Anything that falls far from the typical 3:30 of instant gratitude, and puts emphasis on figurative, not literal interpretation.
