I’m very serious about the art of music. I study, and practice it on an every day basis. Vocals and lyrics are my passion and specialty. I'm in search for proper disciplined musicians who are willing to work hard, master their instruments, and keep pushing to bring music to a higher potential. In my opinion, music is all about loosening up and having fun, but at the same time there needs to be proper balance with prosperity and discipline. Many so called “musicians” dream to reach a highly skilled status, but they don’t want to put the time and work in to achieve it. I don't mean to sound too harsh, but if you happen to fall into this category, please don’t contact me. I’ve been in bands with these types of people before, I have no desire to be in another. I believe in working hard to earn something, and not sitting around, expecting it to just happen.

I’m looking to join or to start a band that's primarily rock based, but has plenty of elements of other genera's as well (as opposed to being just another rock band)

If I’m the singer/lyricist you might be looking for to start a group, or to join your group, you can e-mail me at; blastmaster1 @ yahoo .com I have a fairly flexible schedule so just let me know when you’re free. Send me your number, or I’ll send you mine, and we’ll work a little meeting out. I believe a band has to have the perfect chemistry, so if things go well when we talk, we can go from there, and if the vibe isn’t present, then we obviously won’t. It never hurts to at least try.

Influences:

LYRICAL INFLUENCES: I like the many topics Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, and Jim Croce cover. I also like the way Rakim, and GZA carefully craft every line with proper format, figurative lanquage, interior and exterior rhyme schemes, consistancy, and overall dexterity.

VOCAL INFLUENCES: Jeff Buckley, Brandon Boyd, Stevie Wonder, Maynard James Keenan, Mike Patton, Roger Daltrey, and many more. I marked myself as a "tenor" vocalist for the instrument played section, but for the last two years I've been working on mastering every male vocal range. All in all, I'm not as high as a tenor, but not as low as a baritone ... I'm right in between.

Here's a list of some artists I like. For convenience sake, I alphabetized them (I'm sure I forgot some)
