At Journey we have an awesome community of artists and musicians. We currently have 3 bands that rotate on a 3 week cycle- each group performing for 2 services each Sunday with one rehearsal prior to that Sunday morning. Each week we are privileged to play for around 3-400 people and cover a wide range of material which includes praise and worship, contemporary Christian and cover tunes from secular radio. We are hoping to form more bands as we seek to expand our ministry to multiple locations.

Influences:

Each group has its strengths and style. Between the 3 bands we cover a whole spectrum of musical genres.

Equipment List:

All bands use a Roland TD-12 electronic drum kit and Yamaha S-90 keyboard. All other instruments are at the musician's personal preference and discretion. Sound equipment, lighting, and multimedia are all high quality.

Members Of Band:

Between the 3 groups we have approximately 30 musicians and singers with each group having a core of bass, drums, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, keyboard 1, keyboard 2, percussion, and multiple vocalists. We also use a wide variety of complimentary instruments like saxophone, flute, banjo, dobro, harmonica, steel guitar- all of which are used depending on whether the material calls for it.
