Influences

Mariano is a vocalist / songwriter whose melodies and lyrics combine diverse musical influences.
From a Latin perspective, most notable influences are vocalists such as Alejandro Fernandez, Nino Bravo, Jairo, Alejandro Sanz, Luis Miguel and Cristian Castro. A fan of Jazz standards, Michael Buble, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick also join the list, along with crossover artists like Josh Groban and Russell Watson. On the classical side, he recognizes Andrea Bocelli and Placido Domingo as main influences, in addition to Mario Lanza and Luciano Pavarotti. More recently he's been following ascending tenors Juan Diego Florez, Vittorio Grigolo, and fellow countryman Marcelo Alvarez. Italian Pop is another passion, and as such, the names of Claudio Baglioni, Tiziano Ferro, Anonimo Italiano, Gigi Finizio and Eros Ramazzotti are part of the big list.
Preferred repertoire ranges from traditional and pop Latin and Italian music, to Classical cross-over and Jazz Standards.
