About

The 4th House, a progressive blues rock group based in Central WI is looking for a dedicated lead vocalist. We have a nights worth of material that needs to be learned quickly and we are in the beginning stages of writing our own material. We already have a trio consisting of a drummer, bass player and guitarist and we need a lead singer. Other instruments played is a bonus but not necessary.

While we currently cover bands like Joe Bonamassa, John Mayer Trio, Led Zeppelin, Robben Ford, as well as many other blues musicians and groups, we are not a cover band. We are not just a blues band nor just a rock band. We are interested in replacing all of our covers with our own material. We write music very easily together and whomever fills the role as vocalist MUST have an interest in songwriting and/or lyric writing. We expect creative input and interest. Vocalist must take these songs and make them his or her own and put their own soul into it. We ARE NOT interested in fulfilling the dreams of a frontman/karaoke/rock star wannabe. We are older and take this very seriously and whoever wants to sing in this band must love the music, love singing and do it with passion and treat their voice like another instrument in the band.

Other considerations that would be a positive (but not a requirement) are; owning a truck or van, some PA gear, ability to play other instruments, flexible schedule, etc.
