Eclectic drummer-singer-songwriter. Solid basic rock and funk chops. Good pop/rock voice. I'm really looking for co-conspirators, new friends, colleagues, jam buddies -- for playing/sharing unique and unusual music.

Are you a lazy loser musician with a mind full of odd, mixed, mashed, attention-deficit-disordered sounds that you'd love to add to a group situation -- but you've never found anyone who appreciated music that was simultaneously eclectic, avant garde, pretty, stanky, dreamlike and stupid? Gosh, me too!

Are you shy? Have low self-esteem? Hate domineering people? Believe in lovingkindness, usually? Have OK or limited chops (on whatever) but a real good sense of rhythm?

Are you repulsed by most pop culture and all Clearchannel represents? Does even indie stuff kinda give you a rash?

I'm a liberal 50-something art director, former pro musician, someone who loves music beyond all reason.

Influences:

Right now I like Ron Sexsmith, Ivy, Captain Beefheart, Beatles, Leonard Cohen, Black Uhuru, Anoushka Shankar, Weepies, James Brown, Sly Stone ... eclectic.

AND 70’s funk. 60’s soul. Jamaican. Latin. 60’s and early 70's pop/rock, garage and bubblegum. Almost any kind of world music, especially Indian/Arabian/Persian/the Stans. Downtempo chill is very nice for background.

Stuff I mostly hate: Classic rock of the wanking guitar variety. Modern Country of any kind.
