I play tenor and have a knack for fitting in with many different muscial styles. I have been happily jamming with a group for a number of years but I'm just not getting to play as often as I would like.
I can fit in well with most players as long as I don't have to compete with screaming metal guitars with amps set to eleven, LOL. Some people assume sax means jazz but I'm more comfortable with music in the style of Clapton, Grand Funk, Stevie Ray, Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, Tommy Castro, ZZ Top, Blues, etc. I'm happy just JAMMING. Blues progressions are a blast. I must admit I'm like a fifth wheel though when it comes to heavy metal though.

I have a family and a good "day job" so I'm not chasing a record deal, hope you aren't either. I do have a passion for making music though. Occasional gigs would be very cool.
