Mary Goes Round, a rock cover band in Kansas City, is looking for a bassist. We are an experienced four-piece that plays a variety of rock/alternative/pop tunes – Maroon 5, Bowling for Soup, T. Rex, Led Zep, Weezer, Radiohead, We The Kings, - everything from Bowie to Metro Station (basically, anything that gets people moving and isn’t the same, tired covers people have heard millions of times). We range between 30-45 years and have built a set list of nearly 20 songs with our current bassist, but he is moving out of state. Our ideal replacement would be proficient at bass and also able to sing lead and harmony vocals (we split lead vocal duties three ways right now, depending on what songs fit each member), any keyboard ability is also a plus, but not a must. Most importantly, any new band member would have to be a good fit as a person. We have a strict “no drugs, no drunks and no drama” belief.
