Here’s what I’m looking for :
Looking to be apart of an already existing Full Country band that needs a Singer or Lead Guitarist or BOTH
Looking to be apart of a good Duo or Trio group (with a Piano Player or Guitar Player or both)
Looking for a Songwriting Partner (s)
I am looking to improve my skills as a singer and guitar player and be the BEST I can be
I am looking for people who want to play music 3 to 5 times per week or more (please dont contact me if you only wan to play music in your spare time)
I DON'T want to play Southern Rock ...I mainly play Country music (but, I dont mind playing a couple of Southern Rock songs to break up the country music some)

DON'T CONTACT ME IF : You want me to back you up. I am a Lead singer and Lead guitar player. I dont mind splitting VOCALS equally in a Duo, Trio, or a Band.. but only giving me 1 or 2 songs a set wont work for me.

NOTE: I dont mind working in a group that already has a Lead guitar player ...as long as I can get some Lead time as well

Here’s some facts about me:
I just recently moved to Nashville (Hendersonville)
I am a Country LEAD singer
I am a Country Lead Guitar player (chicken picking style)
I’ve been playing guitar and singing for over 14 yrs
I’ve been singing in bands and playing out for over 12 years
I’m not a natural harmony singer (I don’t sing much harmony, but I can be taught my part if someone shows it to me)
I enjoy playing OLD and NEW country music (maybe a little partial to the Old stuff, but I like the NEW country too)
I have played a little classic rock and current rock in the past, but COUNTRY is my FAVORITE by far
I don’t mind sharing the spotlight with other singers (I don’t have to be the only one who sings in a group)
I am very committed and very serious about playing country music
I am also a songwriter (I’ve been writing for years by myself, but would love to work with other songwriters)
I am NOT looking to just play guitar and back up another vocalist (unless I'm singing an EQUAL amount of the time)

What I DO like!

* Playing Country music:
Although I enjoy and can appreciate all musical styles….Playing and Singing Country music is what I do best and…
I’m looking for people to play with who are as serious about playing country music as I am.

* Playing with a group that is WELL REHEARSED ( I believe that this is when you can let go and really SHINE as a musician…If your worried about messing up on a song your not really sure about or haven‘t practiced enough you wont sound YOUR BEST)

* Having FUN doing what I love to do… Playing country music

* Honesty and Fairness ( I try to always be honest and straight up with everyone I know)

What I DON’T like:

* I don’t like bands that ONLY practice and NEVER play out.
I have NEVER been in one of these bands, because if I spend time practicing material I am going to get out and play it!

* I don’t like playing with other musicians who get DRUNK when they play ….a drink or two is fine, but
I don’t think it’s healthy to get DRUNK every time you play out especially when your getting paid to play

* I don’t like playing material in public that isn’t ready (by this I mean songs that are un-rehearsed)

* I don’t like ANAL or O.C.D. Musicians
I don’t like when bands get hung up on attempting to DUPLICATE the recording of a song their learning. This can be stifling.
(I do believe there’s a BALANCE between making it your own and letting your own talent shine through… while still being true to the original version of the song )

* I don’t like ARROGANT musicians! … (or arrogant people in general )

What am I looking for?
I want to PLAY GUITAR and SING…
I am looking for Bass Players, Drummers, Guitar players, Piano Players, etc. who want to play COUNTRY music.

I’m looking to play with people who want to practice our songs and polish them to perfection so we all look and sound like professionals when we play out. ….instead of looking like we play music in our spare time.

I am looking to play with people who want to go somewhere with their talent.

When can I play music?
I am available to practice and play music 5 Days A Week or More (depending on the work and the situation)

I preferably would like to play in Nashville mostly
(but may consider other areas if it’s not too far from Nashville and if I enjoy who I‘m playing with)
