My name is Matt i'm 23 and new to Texas. I am looking to get a band together or join an existing band. I mainly play blues and blues based rock. I have been playing for a long time but haven't been in a band setting for a couple of years. Used to gig regularly and write lots songs with my old group which was blues, rock and southern rock influences.
I am interested in finding a drummer, bassist and/or organ player, and potentially another guitarist to trade off with lead work and rhythm.
I conceder myself advanced in blues and blues rock however I don't read music.
I guess my goal would be to rent a practice space with the band and practice once or twice a week and play shows on weekend. Then go from there!
