ABOUT

I began performing music in bars/clubs at around age 16 with basically a classic rock cover band playing lead/rhythm guitar and vocals
was heavily involved in performing and recording music from that age , and continued for about the next 15-20 years (performing/recording/touring) being more involved in original music
then relocating around the country lessened my involvement with music , relocated back to western New York - started a family
I would now like to resume my involvement in music
1- with people who have had a similar amount of experience as i have and perhaps have similar family/work obligations
2-I am also not opposed to being involved with younger musicians

Influences

earlier influences were Neil Young, Bob Dylan acoustic roots singer songwriter genre , became very influenced by Gram Parsons for a period , learning and performing much of his catalog (Hendrix- lead inf.)
-a more recent appreciation of Punk/Proto-Punk and 60's garage- Stooges, New York Dolls, The Heartbreakers , Richard Hell/Voidoids - early New York Punk scene , Sonic Youth
I started performing in bars at 16 with cover bands and also began writing original music at that time
I later formed an original band which enjoyed some local/regional success developing a local following
