I am a singer/songwriter living in Wichita, KS. I've been playing guitar for about eight years and seriously writing songs and gigging for about the last four. I recorded an album with a full band (the Ramshackle Sound) last summer and have played a few shows with them, but circumstances kept it from being a sustainable outfit. I've been gigging as a solo act for the past year or so, and am looking to start a band. I would love to be a part of a creative and committed group that wants to write songs that are original and achieve a sound that is unique. I have a special place in my heart for American roots music, and the story-telling engine that it is. However, I'd love to branch beyond that and experiment with all kinds of sound, layers, textures, etc. I would love to gig regularly as well with said group.
