Play clarinets (B Flat and A) and some alto/sopramo sax, 12 years, studied with Thomas Piercy, protege of Kalman Opperman, rehearsed and performed classical and contemporary music in chamber groups two years at Greenwich House School of Music, and also under guidance of Dorothy Lawson (cellist, ETHEL), studied one year at New York Jazz Academy under Javi Arau (Big Band and Improv classes), rehearsed and performed Jackson Heights Orchestra Pat Glunt, director) one year (four concerts), entering second year on Clarinet II in classical, American, and new music compositions. Lifetime musician, whenever an instrument was available. Various amateur folk/rock groups years ago.

Buffett B Flat,LeBlanc A clarinets, Yani 901 Alto Sax, vintage Buescher (Paris) stencil Soprano Sax, c. 1960 Kawai baby grand for figuring out songs. Have played guitars, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, electric bass, electronic keyboard, whatever was around.
