Hello,
I've been at this craft for some time, cultivating my playing to varying levels of success. I am mostly interested in creating original music (Rock, world, metal, electronic, acoustic, classic, etc.) with like minded individuals, who are themselves very committed and passionate.
I've played in a slew of cover bands, mostly rock and whatever was current on the radio. While this was enjoyable and I made lasting friendships, it was never fulfilling and never seemed to sate the need for a creative outlet. That indescribable something that draws most of us to music in the first place.
I am a recent graduate from HACC, earning an associates in Music Business. This helped in realizing that although the face of the music industry has changed dramatically, there are still avenues serious musicians and bands can pursue if they are willing to be proactive in more areas than just their commitment to an instrument.
Currently I have begun a creative partnership to begin a project that will incorporate lighting, 3D projection mapping, live musicians, and video. Ideally this will tell a story, speaking of the state of the human conditioning, society and the awakening of the spirit in man. While still in the beginning phases of writing and team building, allocation of abilities and talent, it is growing fast, but there is a need for a few select individuals, vocalists in particular.
The end goal is to write, record, assemble all other multi-media parts into a cohesive project with the aim of touring.
