The Matt Ryan Band was formed in November 2010 by Matt Ryan and Randy Badour in Bay City Michigan. The MRB sound is an eclectic mix of several styles of music.

Collectively it comes together and flows across the airwaves as a modern country feel. Matt Ryan's vocal styling adds a smooth soulful sound that soars over angelic 2 part harmonies. The scope of the original songs range from beautiful hooks and melodies to full on hard rocking assault.

The wide range from song to song can only be attributed to it's members with many years of experience in nearly every style of music.

Gary Carson (Lead Guitar) adds a signature country / rock and blues blend to the leads throughout with a distinct original approach.

David "Danger" Belincky (drums) adds an ultra heavy handed hard driving approach to drums with no boundaries about what can or can't be in a country song.

Randy Badour (rhythm guitar and co-founder) adds a clean acoustic simplified approach to the rhythm section. This ranges to an extreme hard rock guitar rhythm.

Matt Ryan (lead vocals, founder) comes from an R & B and country background that comes through crystal clean in the vocal. A blend of country and soul with smooth runs and passionate lyrical content.

Collectively all members have ranged from rock, country, pop, R & B and heavy metal over a collective 50 plus years of experience in the music seen. You ain't seen nothing yet!!! The best is yet to come!! MRB Baby!!

Our sound is in the vein of new country, however it’s an original sound to its core. We focus on writing great songs that tend to fit the modern country genre. It’s a blend of soulful smooth vocals, with beautifully placed harmonies. We’re very diverse, ranging from traditional country leads, to a full on six-string assault, amongst songs that are dynamic and beautiful, all the way to abrasive and in your face.
