Hey, the name's Maxime, 18 years old. I've been playing drums for eight years now, and am learning electric guitar/bass basics.
I'm a college student, so I'm pretty busy during the day, but I don't really need to sleep more than three hours a night, so feel free to contact me anytime you want.

Influences:

Woah, that's hard to sum up. My first drums teacher was into Ska/Reggae/Afro music, and I'm now following Brian Ferguson's footsteps, who is more about Jazz/Blues (http://www.brianferguson.net/pages/bio.html).
I listen to a LOT of bands and solo artists. The most influential bands would probably be NIGHTWISH, Slipknot, Pleymo, Tristania, S.o.a.D., Soulfly, Linkin Park, Muse, Into Eternity, Devil Driver, Lunatica, Children of Bodom, Finntroll, Norther, Dream Theater, Marilyn Manson, and many others. My drumming is a blend of Industrial Metal (Slipknot), Rock (Muse, Ill Nino), Finnish/Swedish music (Lordi, Nightwish, Finntroll, In Flames), Power Metal (Elis, Lunatica, At the Gates, Gamma Ray) and Black/Death Metal (Napalm Death, Kittie, Graveworm, Cradle of Filth, Marduk, Deadalion, Quo Vadis, Devil Driver, Obituary). But there are so much more artists and composers that I try to incorporate into my style, from Vivaldi to Crystal Castles to Red Hot Chili Peppers. I try my best not to become the usual, single-styled drummer; my main concern is originality. I’m sick of hearing the soup that’s played on radio every day, I mean come on, show me some creativity, music is an art!
