McKensey Crawford
Born in Chester, Pa. where I began my music career singing with local doo whop groups. I continued my musical career with various top bands from Philadelphia to Scanton, Pa. singing at President BILL CLINTONS Inaugural ball and other affairs and also for governors of Pennsylvania and New Jersey .
I began to sing gospel with a choir called Young Delegation singing on shows with gospel greats such as The Hawkin family, Bobby Jones, The Five Blind Boys, as well as the late Albertina Walker and many more Young Delegation was later signed to Philly International Records where we released two albums on their new gospel label Peace International where I had the opportunity to sing back up for Patti Labell who was also signed to the label.
Most recently I sang first tenor for the group THE EBONY’S who had such top charted hits as Forever, The Reasons Why and Life In The Country, THE EBONY’S performed on shows with r&b greats Al Green, The Stylistics, Ray Goodman and Brown, Bloodstone, Lenny Williams and Heat Wave just to name a few.
