Looking to start a 1st/2nd wave ska band. Unfortunately, I am a percussionist armed only with a variety of percussion instruments and a passion for good music. I listen to a wide variety of music and I've always wanted to start a 1st/2nd wave ska band, but I don't have any friends who share my taste in music.

It would be nice to get a lyricist in the group too, seeing as how I don't have much experience with that. It would be awesome if we didn't end up like a cookie-cutter ska band and if we could write lyrics about real problems (as opposed to the typical songs about troubles with Jamaican life, of which we obviously know nothing)
