Americana: using old country, bluegrass, folk, rock and blues to make modern music with traditional roots and influences. Knoxville is a natural spring of this style, and we've had a fair amount of success contributing to the local and regional scene, playing at some great venues and regional festivals, and have recorded 2 albums. We need a bassist and drummer with good skills and experience that are willing and able to start some light touring, with the hope of more later on. Diversity of influences but an understanding of this genre is a major plus. Solid vocals also a big plus. We can be contacted through our website mbrconlineDOTcom or our MySpace.

Influences:

Doc Watson, Ralph Stanley, Haggard, Robert Zimmerman, Old Blues Men (Johnson, Muddy, Blind Willie McTell), Dwight Yoakam, Whiskeytown, Drive By Truckers, Pearl Jam, Tool, Radiohead, Rolling Stones, rock, grunge, metal, country, bluegrass, murder ballads. And jungle/crunk.

Equipment List:

Guitars, banjo, mandolin, dobro, fiddle, recording equipment, PA. We need a bass player who can do both upright and electric. Drummer doesn't need a huge kit, but enough to do occasional loud rock.

Members Of Band:

M.Davis, M. Foster, a host of others.
