About

I was classically trained in piano and play a little bass guitar; however, I have not played an instrument in years, as I have been fronting as a vocalist instead. My strength is lead singer. I stopped performing live to have children and since moving to NoVA have been in two bands. I am still friends with members of both bands; however, one was in Frederick, MD (commute was nuts), and the other is in Vienna/Fairfax and wasn't progressing (good guys, just flat-lined a bit). I would really be interested in playing in an acoustic act even covers like Boyce Avenue. I really want to have fun and perform once in a while.

Influences

anything really....Melissa Etheridge/Susan Tedeschi/Janis Joplin/Joss Stone to Celine Dion/Christina Aguilera/Gwen Stefani/Sheryl Crow. I like a variety from rock/blues to pop. I like the Stones, Beatles, Lenny Kravitz, Weezer, Cracker, Sting, etc.
