My son and I have a couple of bands we are getting together. The hardest thing to find is a good lead singer. I always thought having a chick lead singer was getting more of the guys to come to the club, buy records etc. We have full use of a complete studio. I have recorded a few other bands and ran sound also for 20 + years. My band has played in a few local venues but I have 4 solid years road experience.

Influences:

If I ever heard anything from Bach to a chipmunk chattering in the woods, I have been influenced. I admit to having influences from musicians I don't even like. If this makes any sence then you have an open mind. One thing I think we all learn as musicians, we may not always enjoy every song our band decides they want to play. We must still do our best and use everything we have learned to get through it. If you make a mistake, you must make sure you meant to make that mistake. We must realize when that fleeting moment is over, we can't go back, we must play through, not stopping or pausing. only forgetting prior and remembering what is to come. This is when we all realize our fans are our influences as much as we are there influence. To teach is to learn.
