I am looking to start a technical death metal band such as Decrepit Birth or Nile with other influences like Whitechapel, Job For a Cowboy, and the Faceless. I have intermediate skill and have decent though inexpesive gear. I am looking for a drummer that can or would be willing to learn how to blast and play very fast double bass, a vocalist that can growl or scream in a death metal style (not picky as long as you have skill or are developing), and a competent bassist and second guitarist. I would like to practice weekly and attempt to play shows on most weekends.
More than skill, I want ambition in the other musicians.
I am also actually 17- it would be cool if other members were around my age. THe site wouldn't let me post unless I said I was 18.
