Looking for a weekend gigging band for fun and profit. I'd like a band that plays fun music that most area bands don't play. I like to rock out old tunes. Like an Iron Maiden style version of A Flock of Seagulls' "I Ran". That's fun! In general, if all the other bands are playing it, I really don't want to. It depends on the song, of course. For instance, I think "Crazy Bitch" is THE stupidest song in history, and if I hear it one more time, I will shoot you. Just sayin'
I also write originals, and I'd like to mix them in tastefully to a set to gauge reaction to them.
I'm really easy going, despite the fact that I just threatened to shoot you, and I just want solid dependable people to play and create with without a lot of drama. Good luck to me, these are musician we're talking about!
Oh, well...

My main influences are Rush, King's X, Yes, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Living Sacrifice, Heart, Iron Maiden, Iona, Alice in Chains, about a million 80's hair metal bands and U2.

Equipment List:

I play a custom 6 string bass, a zoom effect unit, a minx practice amp, 2 15's and a 200 watt head unit that's broken. It used to sound great! I'll get it fixed when I get some dough.
