I'm Jordan, age 22, and I'm hoping to assemble a metalcore/hardcore band from the ground up. I've written and screamed for a couple bands, both of which eventually turned up lacking commitment, and I'm looking to go in a new direction with some talented musicians. I've played a couple parties but I haven't officially gigged yet, but it's something I'm definitely looking forward to.

Influences:

The style I'm been producing recently comes from metal bands like Unearth, As I Lay Dying, Hatebreed, early Killswitch, Crossbreed, etc. Vocally I have great range from the lowest growls and roars to higher screaming although my strength is in the bass range, but I've only recently been working on my cleaner vocals. I'm primarily a poet, so writing is a passion and I'm able to compliment well any musician that I collaborate with. If possible I'd like to start out with someone new doing some covers.

Equipment List:

Any mics and PAs I've used in the past were the property of another bandmate, but as soon as a serious project develops I'll be out buying professional gear.
